Work Environment
This position generally requires 8 hours a day, if not sometimes more depending on the project. The workweek is Monday-Friday and occasionally on weekends/nights depending on the project. This position requires work in the outdoors in all types of weather. It involves walking, standing, bending, and possibly stooping for extended periods, as well as carrying and lifting heavy objects. The location of this position will be listed on an offer letter
Salary Description
$19.00 - $24.00/hour
- The TCT 1 will perform a wide range of traffic control tasks to provide safety and support to our contractors on job sites or public/private roadways
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for adding hours into a tablet for payroll and billing purposes
- Maintain the company vehicle in accordance with the fleet management requirements
- Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment
- Read and understand traffic control plans
Duties / Responsibilities:
- "The TCT 1 should have the duties and responsibilities of TST 3"
- The TCT 1 should perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills / Abilities:
- The TCT 1 should have the ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
- The TCT 1 should have the ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change
- The TCT 1 should have the ability to work with a variety of personalities
- The TCT 1 should have the ability to work under pressure
- The TCT 1 should have the understanding of basic flagging policies, procedures, rules, and state and federal laws
- The TCT 1 should at least 400 hours of road experience
Experience:
- The TCT 1 should have prior job experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- The TCT 1 should have state valid flagger certification card
- The TCT 1 should have a valid driver's license, to operate company equipment/vehicle
