POSITION SUMMARY :

B.A.T.S. is seeking motivated, energetic, experienced Traffic Control Leads. Traffic Control Leads are responsible the following areas: Traffic Control setups, Device Installation, Jobsite and Crew Leadership, Pedestrian Control, Flagging and Traffic Direction, Routing, Meal and Break Scheduling, Inventory Control and Customer Communication and other duties as assigned. The Lead 4 specializes in but is not limited to, Flagging Setups.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends

POSITION DUTIES:

• Customer Service
• Traffic Device Installation
• Traffic Plan Review and Implementation
• Pedestrian Control and Monitoring
• Driving and Equipment Towing
• Inventory Control and Requests
• Scheduling and Routing
• Crew Leadership
• Tailboard Safety Meetings
• Jobsite Safety Analysis
• Crew Evaluations
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Can lift up to 50lbs
• A current member of the Local Laborers Union (LIUNA) required
• Great customer service and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Must read/write in English
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Flexible Schedule a must
• Clean driving record is a must
• Valid Driver's License Required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ Years Traffic Control experience required
• Current Flagging Certification preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience driving pick-up trucks
• Conflict Resolution Skills a must
• Light scheduling and routing experience
• Good geographical knowledge of Butte County preferred
• Must be able to withstand long hours on feet, exposed to the elements
