Job description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure traffic control is enforced and adhere to all safety standards
  • Work with management to review construction zone assignments and assure work meets project plans and specifications
  • Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices
  • Follows safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices
  • Report any safety hazards or traffic issues
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in traffic control in civil construction projects
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety and be diligent in demonstrating safe work practices
