This is a Senior Associate role within the TradeAgent Operations team, who will be the key point of contact for all operational matters, ensuring a high standard of adherence to all processes and controls and monitoring the health and integrity of the service.
This role will be responsible for the market-wide portfolio maintenance and life-cycle events that may be processed by clients in the service.
The role is a highly visible one, working closely with technology support functions and the wider business (Sales, Product, PMO, COO), and will also require working with external customers such as trade venues and clearing houses. The team is the point of contact and first level of escalation for external customers and has the responsibility of ensuring a positive experience when partnering with LSEG Post Trade.
This individual will work closely with all internal and external partners to ensure queries and issues are followed through to resolution. There are significant growth opportunities for the business and as such the role would suit a highly motivated and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Skills
- Strong experience (3-5 years) within the middle-office or similar area of an investment bank, institutional investment manager, clearing organisation, or similar financial institution.
- Practical experience supporting Interest Rate Derivate Products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and influencing skills.
- Ability to understand technical complexity of the end-to-end trade process, from execution, to confirmation, to clearing.
- Risk mindset
- Analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Computational skills using applications such as MS Excel.
- Able to manage workload and priorities themselves and can work to deadlines.
- Comfort working alone or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of central clearing. LCH SwapClear knowledge would be a plus.
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York City applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $103,200 - $191,600.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
