We are currently looking for a TPA Oversight Specialist which will be based in either of the following AGCS offices: Chicago, Alpharetta, and O'Fallon. We will consider remote candidates outside located outside of the AGCS offices.
The Impact You Will Have
Candidate will primarily provide claim technical oversight to a TPA staff for General Liability claims for a national fast food restaurant. The position requires knowledge of ISO General Liability coverages for Mid Corp GL customers. The position interacts with MGU executives, internal Underwriting, internal Actuaries, Finance, off shore operations and AGCS Claims. 10-15 external TPA staff will report to the position.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $92,591 to $167,091. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Provide Coverage, investigative, vendor selection, recovery and claim resolution advice to TPA adjusters.
- Using loss runs and internally developed claim lists, select, coordinate, conduct and complete quarterly claim file reviews (audits) for the TPA handled program(s) under management by the position
- Upon audit completion, present verbal overview of the audit findings to Program MGU, TPA Sr Leadership, Program Underwriters and AVP of Claim Vendor Oversight
- As required identify, implement or provide required skill building for TPA adjusters on AGCS programs
- Attend and present as requested to Underwriting at Program Renewal or Zone Meetings
- Implement and chair regular communication meetings with the MGU, the MGU's Claim staff, the TPA adjusters and Underwriting to assure transparency in Program claim handling
- Professionally communicate large loss Heads Up written notifications for losses > $1M
- Review monthly TPA BDX and reconcile to internal claim system records
- Identify and communicate Legal trends to Internal Program Underwriting that may impact program profitability
- Communicate large losses to Internal Program Underwriter and Actuary within one business day of the claim being reported to AGCS
- Notify Internal Program Underwriter and Actuary of any program policyholder participant(s) of increased insurability risk that could impact program profitability
- Provide Internal Program Underwriting Team feedback as requested on MGU and program performance
- Participate or lead Claim, Unit or Program projects as required.
- Participate with Claims AES or other project teams that impact NA Claims as a Team
- The position will primarily perform desk but may join other Oversight members for on-site claim file reviews (audits) and present the results verbally and in writing to MGU and TPA executives as well as internal Underwriting.
- Some travel is required (4-6 trips annually).
What You'll Bring to the Role
- 5-7 years experience in general Liability claim supervision experience
- Workers Compensation knowledge is a plus
- 5-7 years experience interacting with MGU's, UW Management and Actuary
- The position demands strong influence management skills, mentoring and supervision experience.
- Knowledge of working with BDX is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience working in CLAWs is desirable
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
