Our client in Southwest Austin is looking to bring on an experienced Total Rewards and Learning & Development Specialist. The ideal candidate will be excited to assist in planning, designing, and implementing Learning & Development Programs. You must be a self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This is a Monday – Friday position with a flexible schedule and can be performed remotely but you must be in Texas. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Total Rewards manager to help plan, design, implement and administer comprehensive rewards strategies and programs, while assessing the effectiveness of current programs
  • Manage contracts and collaborate with vendors and external partners
  • Develop and coordinate Total Rewards and L&D communication strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees
  • Oversee the insurance designations sponsorship program
  • Serve as a main point of contact for all employers and leaders regarding all benefits, L&D, and wellness matters

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 4-5 years of Total Rewards (business administration) experience
  • Sound knowledge of the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to Total Rewards programs (FLSA, Sec 125, ERISA, 409A, HIPAA,etc)
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), PHR, or SHRM-CP is a PLUS

Job Type:

  • 3-month to FTE with benefits
  • Remote, but must be local to Austin, Tx or Texas
  • M-F start time between 7-9am and end time between 4-6pm
