Job Description
We are looking for a Service Repair Technician. Pneumatic/Electric tool repair experience is preferred but will consider training a candidate with good mechanical aptitude and experience such as an Automotive component rebuilding or other Electro-Mechanical experience. M-F 7AM-4PM in a conditioned shop environment. Overtime on occasion.
Summary:
Repairs, modifies and maintains pneumatic/electric tools and associated equipment by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Operate (pre-test) Electric and Pneumatic tools to establish condition/problem.
- Analyze results from pre-test results to determine probable trouble area.
- Disassemble and reassemble Electric and Pneumatic tools and devices.
- Examine old parts to determine usability.
- Read parts diagram to obtain required replacement part numbers.
- Fill out estimate worksheets with required parts and comments about device condition.
- Recondition and/or replace defective parts.
- Provide Quality Control by test tool performance and ensure that they are within original manufacturers’ specifications.
Required Skills:
- Mechanical repair experience such as automotive or hydraulic component rebuilding.
- Understanding of basic electronics and mechanical devices.
- Understanding the proper use of a “torque wrench”.
- Basic computer usage to access files and drawings.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Language Skills:
Must be able to read, speak and write English. Additionally, even limited Spanish or Japanese would be advantageous.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic math.
Reasoning Ability:
Mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics and parts break downs.
Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
