We are looking for a new team member in the Engineering Department at our Auburn Hills, MI location. The Test Manager will be working with cutting-edge technologies that will be pivotal in pushing autonomous driving forward within the Commercial Vehicle division, with focus on our ABS and ADAS systems product line.
We are looking for a passionate individual to coordinate the validation programs within the R&D test lab and the vehicle test operation and lead communication between our customers, product development and validation teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, lead and track testing-related engineering activities for ABS and ADAS product lines.
- Represent project and test team to stakeholders (Engineering PjM, overall PjM, test domains, customer, quality)
- Development of test and validation plans and strategy including budget, resources, test equipment and prototypes.
- Responsible for QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) for all testing activities within the assigned project –SQ vehicle/HIL test as well as DQ lab and component test
- Contact person for internal and external customers regarding test and validation topics
- Recommend maturity level and allowed usage of products based on test results
- Planning of test infrastructure incl. test stands, measurement equipment, actuators or fixtures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive engineering (testing expereince preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO26262, ASPICE and “V” Cycle development approach (preferred)
- Knowledge in requirements and test management systems – PTC/DOORS/other
- Experience in project management experience (preferred)
