JOB DESCRIPTION
Kett Engineering is currently seeking hardworking, detail oriented, and team contributing Test Drivers for 1st and 2nd shift on behalf of our client based out of a test center in Ashland, VA.
The Test Driver will operate technically advanced pre-production vehicles as part of a team on public roads while performing a full vehicle evaluation for each drive cycle.
Shift Times: ** Shift times are subject to change
Monday - Friday
1st shift: 7am - 330pm
2nd shift 4 pm - 1230 am
Pay rate: $16.00/hr.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a valid drivers license for a minimum of 5 years.
• Clean MVR. No points, no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past three years. No DUI or DWAI.
• Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• PROFICIENT WITH SMART PHONES AND BASIC COMPUTER TECH.
• Availability of 3-5 days per week. PREFERRED 5 DAYS PER WEEK
• Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time.
• Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms.
• Follow directions and execute tasks. Be reliable and maintain good attendance.
• Complete required trainings.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute in a team environment.

• Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.
• Drive on designated routes for 8 10 hour shifts while performing test procedures. DO NOT DEVIATE FROM ASSIGNED ROUTES.
• Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests.
• Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
• Maintain safety and security procedures.
• Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.

Payrate: $16.00 per hour
