Where the Chemistry Happens...
The purpose of this position is to achieve strategic business needs through process safety, capital project support, process and product optimization and automation. This position is responsible for driving continuous technology innovation.
Formula for Success...
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- A minimum two years of Operations experience in a chemical/petrochemical or other similar manufacturing environment
- Batching Plant experience preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of Process Engineering concepts and their applications
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ and other applicable code and regulations and standards
- Practical experience in plant troubleshooting
- Practical experience in process control, field equipment and DCS/PLC Control Systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead teams
