Job Purpose and Impact
The Technology Controls Test Advisor will design, develop, implement, and sustain a control testing program to support the governance programs. In this role, you will independently develop effective controls testing by aligning with 2nd line program owners to implement and enhance governance programs. You will drive activities globally, including thought leadership, planning, execution, successful implementation of controls and results.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide strategic vision for control testing in conjunction with second line Governance Programs and utilize broad and in-depth knowledge of applicable controls and thorough business technical acumen. Lead the execution and implementation of controls testing and supporting activities required to achieve or exceed expected results.
- Identify, contribute with recommendations, and implement control methodologies based on specialized industry knowledge of risk and security control frameworks.
- Define and communicate clear objectives and scope aligned to the company's control framework testing across a wide range of stakeholders including essential members.
- Provide sponsors and stakeholders with a routine status and actively communicate issues and threats to ensure that leadership alignment is a priority.
- Integrate people and other resources from the organization to achieve milestones and fulfillment of obligations and control requirements.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building a Controls Testing capability in a global organization.
- Experience leading technology security assessments, including NIST.
- Experience defining and sustaining key security, or control framework related measurements that will drive visibility, accountability, quality, and overall IT effectiveness
- Experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Governance, Compliance and Regulatory
