St. Martha School is accepting applications for part-time teacher’s aide at the primary level and playground supervisor. The teacher’s aide provides support for the instructional program including but not limited to: assistance with student supervision, classroom preparation, clerical help, and lunchroom/playground duties.
Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma, preferably with childcare experience and must be someone who is of dependable, responsible, team-oriented character and have a passion for working with children of all developmental levels. The teacher’s aide will assist the lead teacher in promoting emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth for our students. St. Martha School follows the State of Michigan licensing requirements. The position is part-time.
The following items are general expectations for this role:
- Be a positive representative of the school and the faith community.
- Should have scheduling flexibility.
- Follow confidentiality requirements regarding children and families.
- Complete background check, CPR/First Aid Training, proper immunization and medical requirements required, complete Virtus Protecting God’s Children certification, and any other training as required by State of Michigan Licensing.
