Summary:
Develops and leads classroom activities and developmentally appropriate programs.
Detailed responsibilities:
• Applies knowledge of learning principles to develop age appropriate classroom programs and content.
• Works collaboratively with management and other teacher to assess learning/performance needs and to develop age appropriate learning solutions.
• Develops teaching schedule and selects or develops curriculum aids as appropriate. Updates curricula with new materials and content as appropriate.
• Monitors progress utilizing assigned resources. Conducts evaluations and analyzes results.
• Supervises children and youth to ensure safety.
