Job Summary:

Courtesy Transportation LLC is now hiring independent contractors, to drive a taxi cab throughout Pitt County NC. We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. If you enjoy driving and interacting with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Duties:

- Be able to obtain a taxi license

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers and ensuring a comfortable and safe ride

- Collect fares from passengers

- Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety

- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the taxi vehicle

- Communicate with dispatchers to receive pick-up and drop-off locations

- Assist passengers with special needs or disabilities as required

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Taxi Driver, Commercial Driver, Bus Driver, Limousine Driver, Paratransit Driver, or Van Driver is preferred

- Ability to work Tuesday - Saturday from 5am - 5pm

- Retirees are preffered

- Familiarity with local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns

- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents

- Good communication and customer service skills
