ROLE SUMMARY:
The Tasting Room & Kitchen Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of internal private catering events. They oversee and assist in the execution of private Tasting Room events from set-up to clean-up to ensure consistent, world-class experiences for customers. They are responsible for all administrative duties such as private sales contracts, event orders, sales tracking, and managing client relationships. The Events Coordinator serves as the main point-of-contact at private Tasting Room events. They participate in the conception, planning and execution of the TASTING ROOM public facing events. They also develop programs and aid in marketing strategy to build business and bring more destination awareness to the Tasting Room & Kitchen.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate and follow up on business leads for private on-site events.
• Manage marketing materials for internal events including catering packet, buffet signage, catering promotions, special offerings, etc.
• Build and maintain valuable relationships with local businesses who have a need for catered events at Cutwater.
• Aid in the communication of upcoming public events to Manager and Marketing teams to ensure that events are promoted with optimal lead times.
• Manage assigned events, responding to inquiries, following-up on all arrangements, and attending the event as the on-site contact.
• Regularly update the events calendar and maintain records of event results, keeping team/Manager apprised of all activity.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College Degree (preferred).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1+ years prior experience in catering or event planning (preferred).
• Prior customer service experience required.
