POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisitions Specialist to drive the full life cycle recruiting process for TopSide Marinas’ properties and corporate team. This is an ideal position for an agency-trained recruiter or a recruiter with experience handling multiple locations and hiring managers. You will be responsible for developing internal relationships with management as well as developing and implementing recruiting strategies for each location in compliance with HR compliance and best practices.
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage full life cycle recruiting by sourcing, interviewing, closing, and executing the offer with candidates for all marinas and Corporate, then initiating the onboarding process
- Conduct intake meetings with internal customers (hiring managers) to gain an understanding of immediate and future hiring needs
- Based on networking and research, provide good quality market intelligence to the company regarding the recruitment market and build a pipeline of future talent
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Post open positions on approved websites, job boards, social media, etc.
- Source passive and active candidates from job postings, social networking, leads, employee referrals, job fairs, etc.,
- Develop, drive, and execute comprehensive search strategies designed to efficiently recruit candidates in limited candidate spaces
- Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews with high quality candidates with management
- Create and manage the candidate experience including all communications, scheduling interviews, making offers, and following up with next steps
- Partner with Marketing to host job fairs at the properties as needed
- Attend recruiting events (industry conferences, university job fairs, etc.) as needed
- Work closely with Regional Vice Presidents on hiring initiatives such as recruiting for internships, training programs, etc.
- Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to management on a regular basis
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices to the recruiting process
- Participate in Human Resources initiatives as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Two plus (2+) years of multi-location recruiting required (either as an in-house or agency recruiter)
- Must have an engaging personality and be able to respond quickly and positively to change
- Must have a successful track record in building and maintaining relationships (confidence and credibility) at all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time despite interruptions
- Ability to make independent decisions and determine the appropriate course of action
- Professional conduct and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal customers and candidates
- Strong work ethic and personal commitment
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Travel required ~10% including job fairs, onboarding acquisitions, etc.
