We seek a Talent Acquisition Specialist to report to the Human Resource Manager. This individual will be our expert at attracting, identifying, and hiring candidates for each specific role and will work in partnership with the company's hiring managers to achieve those objectives. Specifically, this will focus on recruiting our service division's skilled manufacturing roles. This individual will also support ongoing HR initiatives, develop and facilitate training to meet business needs, and deliver value to the employee base. 

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support company initiatives concerning diversity, outreach, and overall goals, including the evolution of our sourcing strategy and alignment with hiring managers.

To Succeed, You Will Need:

    Provide an excellent experience to hiring managers with an optimistic and engaging attitude
    Continuously improve the recruitment process, which includes optimized methods to attract potential employees to our company, create a talent pipeline, and identify candidates for specific roles.
    Continuously improve proactive and innovative techniques to identify, prequalify, interview, and select candidates.
    Review and update job descriptions, offer letters, and employment contracts while managing the timely distribution of such documents. 
    Experience conducting job analyses is preferred.
    Ensure data integrity and reporting for accuracy within the HR-related platforms and systems. 
    Conduct compensation reviews on positions regularly. 
    Manage staffing agency vendors and contracts.
    Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    Attend job fairs and recruitment initiatives.
    Provide accurate and concise data to assist in completing the annual affirmative action plan (AAP).
    Perform onboarding, new hire orientations, and support our new hire experience.
    Ability to manage several tasks or projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 
    Collect and analyze data and trends to stay proactive and ahead of ever-changing HR initiatives.

 

Position Requirements

    Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
    Bachelor's degree in HR or a similarly related field
    SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
    Minimum of 3-5 years of recruitment and HR support-related experience.
    Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruitment, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
    Must be willing and able to travel within the United States & Canada to support and train remote employees.
