Job description

Essential Job Functions:
  • Update job descriptions. Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, website, and internally.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives (i.e., social media)
  • Conduct interviews, phone screens and filter candidates for open positions
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
  • Provides and maintains all agency vacancies
  • Manages high-volume onboarding contingency tracker and develops strategies to create better systems when needed
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with managers/Directors to identify future hiring needs
  • Act as a liaison to new hires and help them onboard
  • Manages PNAA and NAA procedures and notifications in compliance with the FCRA.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the HR Director
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and maintaining rapport.
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Assist with onboarding process
  • Check and respond to emails daily to maintain proper communication
  • Attend and actively participate in all scheduled meetings.
  • Staff will be required to utilize agency electronic systems for communication, time and attendance, progress notes, incident report filing, etc.
  • Sends weekly reports to hiring managers/HR team on New Hire contingency status and update on missing requirements.
  • Follows all applicable personnel and labor laws and regulations including EEO/AA.
  • Handles administrative duties and recordkeeping
  • Other duties assigned by the HR Director
Administrative Functions:
  • Assist HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings, attends committee meetings and seminars.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Education and Experience
  • An Associate’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three years of experience in recruitment and hiring practices/training required.
Other Skills/Requirements/Abilities:
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Knowledge of principals and practice of personnel administration
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and resume database

Physical Demands:
Employee may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl/ the employee may lift or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally 25 pounds.
