Job description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing a positive and seamless candidate experience on behalf of Ferragamo. They will facilitate the hiring of top talent by partnering with our retail leaders to understand hiring needs and managing the end-to-end recruitment process including needs assessment meetings, sourcing, and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and developing and executing offers.


The position is responsible for the full life cycle of recruitment: recruiting, sourcing, screening, interviewing by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). The position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all administrative and specialized functions in the company, understanding of the company’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of policy and procedure, federal and state laws regarding employment practices. The position is based in New York City, New York.


Responsibilities

Manage the recruitment process and lifecycle including job postings, sourcing talent, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, checking references, negotiating job offers, and onboarding.

  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone, video and in person), administers appropriate assessments.
  • Lead a structured interview process; provide interview training as needed, facilitate interviews, feedback sessions and offer execution. Facilitate a consistent screening and evaluation process for all candidates.
  • Source and recommend full-time and contingent hires through all sources including diversity resources, social media, on-line sourcing, college recruitment programs, etc.
  • Manage candidates' application profiles and status in our applicant tracking system by maintaining necessary administrative task updates throughout recruitment process.
  • Partner with internal support teams to ensure a seamless hiring and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Develop a proactive candidate pipeline for targeted roles.
  • Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager.
  • Meetings with the hiring manager to determine candidate profile, recruiting strategy and hiring process logistics.
  • Build and sustain relationships with retail hiring managers to understand their needs, offer market feedback, and consistently communicate updates through the interview process.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership/Market Directors to understand their talent needs and manage the recruitment process.
  • Support company DE&I recruiting initiatives. Engage with diversity networks including professional and alumni HBCU networks, colleges/universities to promote the brand, source talent, and build partnerships.


On-Boarding

  • Initiating new hire documents with ATS.
  • Assistance with eVerify
  • Point of contact for first 90 days of employee tenure
  • Onboarding and Employee Experience Questionnaire


HR Metrics & Reporting

  • Compile reports and track effectiveness – open positions, sourcing channel, retention rate, turnover, cost of hire, etc.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in full cycle recruiting sourcing top talent in an office setting and retail or field environment, luxury retail preferred
  • Must have a strong understanding of retail stores and field operations
  • You must be able to manage a high requisition list, while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and internal partners
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills along with the ability to quickly establish credibility with client groups.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build productive relationships.
  • Exceptional time management skills, strong sense of urgency with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • DE&I experience in sourcing and implementing candidate generation strategies.
  • Able to be adaptable and consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
  • Confident interacting and partnering with all levels of leadership.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ADP and SAP Success Factors experience preferred.
