Position Summary:

The Talent Acquistion Coordinator provides proactive administrative support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition departments.  This position enables the Talent Acquisition function by understanding staffing levels and needs and administering related processes, including but not limited to crewing sheets, opening job requisitions in the ATS, liaising with staffing agencies, assisting with emplyoment marketing, providing candidate support from interview scheduling, coordinating travel, and conducting pre-employment screenings.  The TA Coordinator also supports all new hire activity including onboarding schedules and assistance.  This position plays a critical role in the department's success by providing reporting and systems support from within the Human Resources Information Systems.  

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the overall Talent Acquisition process within the site, including but not limited to opening job requisitions in the ATS, assisting with employment marketing, providing candidate support from interview scheduling and assisting walk-in interviews.
  • Coordination and management of various "crewing sheets" to effectively understand the staffing levels, openings, and employee movement across the site.  Report out regularly on trends, status updates of staffing levels and areas of opportunity or roadblocks.
  • Ownership and oversight of all pre-employment screening activities including initiating and helping candidates through obtaining background checks, drug screens and physicals.
  • Track and manage adhoc manual reporting for invoicing, recruitment expenses, and staffing agency contracts. Act as the site liaison and point of contact for all staffing agencies.
  • Act as the Talent Acquisition Specialist back-up and the HR Administrative Department back-up including helping to process new hires through the system, information changes, schedule/set-up/coordinate team events, meetings, offsites, etc.
  • Other projects as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience working in a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources role.
  • 2+ years experience supporting a Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Department preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:

*Independent, self-motivated, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Understanding of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources functions
*Strong Excel skills, MS Word and Outlook, including pivot table, VLookup, and Mail Merge functions
*Experience working with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), HRIS, I-9 and E-Verify systems a plus
*High level of professionalism, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively

 

Physical Demands:

Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.  Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task(s). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.  Additional demands may be required.

 

Work Environment:

In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed.  May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity.  May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.  Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards.  May require work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet for prolonged periods of time.
