Responsibilities of the Tableau Administrator:
- Support day to day operations, maintenance, and monitoring of Tableau Server
- Encourage/advise business teams on best practices related to dashboard development and data extracts
- Support Business Analysts with their dashboards and reports
- Identify and resolve issues impacting server usage
- Monitor Tableau environment to ensure optimal performance
- Test and enable newer Tableau features as and when available
- High school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- 4+ years of experience using Tableau with an emphasis on Tableau Server
- Strong working knowledge of the Tableau Desktop dashboard development cycle
- Familiarity with building dashboards/reports using Tableau or Power BI
- Strong troubleshooting skills using all available tools to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to work with business partners across various parts of the organization
- Strong SQL coding skills
- ETL knowledge a plus
