SalaryJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT systems, with a particular focus on VMware, O365, and on-premises technologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of experience in system administration, with proven expertise in virtualization, cloud-based solutions, and on-premises infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our VMware virtualization infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network components.
- Design and implement solutions to optimize virtualization performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage and maintain our O365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
- Ensure that all O365 services are configured, monitored, and maintained to meet business needs and security requirements.
- Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and capacity to ensure the highest levels of availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement new solutions to meet business needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and other IT staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on VMware, O365, and on-premises technologies.
- Strong experience with VMware vSphere, including ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Experience with O365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
- Strong experience with on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions, such as Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
