Salary: Competitive and based on experience

ACHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center and has licensed primary care clinics. We provide Family Medicine and Dental Care, with additional specialists in Behavioral Health, Chiropractic, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Podiatry and Optometry. ACHC Clinics are located across Fresno, Kings and Tulare counties.


RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The System Administrator-I, will be responsible for managing and maintaining computer and server systems, network infrastructures, and software applications both for internal and external environments. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are well maintained and operate reliably as a Managed Service Provider (MSP). Tasks performed by the System Administrator-I include, but are not limited to, providing support to internal and external users, monitor and manage internal and external network environments, monitor, and ensure the integrity of all security platforms, and provide guidance and support to other technicians. This individual must have the ability to engineer and deploy new systems for both physical and virtual, as well as make recommendations on new solutions and tools to continuously improve operations. The System Administrator-I must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and departments on projects and integrated solutions.

Job Duties

  • Provide third level hands-on system administration support, maintenance, and operations support, including project and Helpdesk services.
  • Respond to trouble ticket system requests and accurately document the path to resolution.
  • Maintain, administer, and monitor computer networks and related computing environments including hardware, software applications, notifications, and hosted services.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve server and storage hardware, software and other network and system related problems, both physical and virtual.
  • Maintain and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations and tasks.
  • Maintain, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware including anti-virus protection and cyber security in accordance with Best Practices.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications including mobile devices and related services.
  • Recommend changes to improve systems, security, and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
  • Perform account audits, log reviews, system file audits, patch audits, service audits and ports/protocol analysis on computer networks, including penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems, server hardware (e.g., DELL, HP), virtualization (e.g., VMware and Hyper-V), NAS/SANs (e.g., NetApp, HP, Synology), VoIP systems (e.g., 8x8), applications such as Microsoft Suites, and database management (e.g., SQL).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet networks (e.g., VLANs, VPN, VoIP, LAN/WAN), and network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless access points (e.g., SonicWall, HP, Ubiquity, Sophos, Aruba etc.)
  • Excellent Knowledge of administrative tasks in a Windows server environment (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS/DHCP, etc.).
  • Strong Knowledge of email systems and mail protocols such as Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
  • Solid Knowledge of backup, replication, and disaster recovery tasks and best practice (Veeam preferred)
  • Understanding of monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Zabbix)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills & ability to quickly diagnose and fix hardware, software, and network issues.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical preferred.
  • Minimum 3-years of experience in a professional system support role managing Windows, including, but not limited to, NTFS security concepts, Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS, and system administration concepts including disk and network administration, and DFS administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of the following technologies, both in terms of Architecting, engineering, and support.
    • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE - certification desired but not required
    • CCNA or other Cisco certifications desired
    • CompTIA A+ or Security + certification desired
    • Office 365, and Intune Administration
    • Security practices in Office 365/Azure portals
    • Windows Server Administration, Policies, Procedures, and Design
    • 2-Years of SQL experience preferred
    • 2-years of Electronic Health Record Management System (e.g., Nextgen, Apteryx, Dexis or any other) required.
