- Assist in ensuring the security and availability of assigned IT systems which will include some/all of the following...
- server hardware and software (VMWare, Microsoft Server, Linux)o directory services (MS Active Directory, Azure AD)
- security systems (EPM, EDR, IPS/IDS, SIEM, SOAR)
- storage systems (DAS, NAS, OneDrive, and archive systems)
- networking/infrastructure devices (firewalls, routers, switches, WiFi, LAN, WAN)
- cloud platforms (M365)
- collaborative technologies (SharePoint, Teams)
- industrial systems (GIS, Remote Sensing, CAD)
- Assist in ensuring the physical and logical security of assigned IT systems
- Monitor the health, performance, and security of assigned IT systems
- Assist in submitting risks and tracking of action plans related to assigned IT systems
- Assist in the planning, testing, documenting, and communications as it relates to implementing changes for assigned IT systems
- Assist with incident response and resolution efforts related to assigned IT systems
- Mature policies, procedures, and standards and maintain documentation related to assigned IT systems
- Provide after-hours support when required, including On-Call problem resolution and project-related activities.
- Communicate and partner with other IT staff members to promote peer-to-peer teaming and knowledge sharing
- Participate in learning and training IT staff on IT standard operational procedures and troubleshooting best practices
- Ensure information sharing (i.e., provide documentation and training) with the user community as required as end-user processes and safeguards change, and during IT incidents
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree in a business/technical discipline, a Bachelor's Degree in a business/technical discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience focusing on the development and implementation of security best practices as it relates to information, data communications, networking, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting IT systems and networking components
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting end-user communities with service excellence
- Minimum of 2 IT certifications from this list - CompTIA (A+, Security+, Network+, Cloud+) CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, CSX-P, CDPSE, CCNP, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, ITIL, MCSA, MTA, VCP, PMP
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Systems Administrator roles supporting the most current technologies and products used in the industry including Microsoft 365 PaaS (Platform as a Service)
