Surety Account Assistant

Provides surety technical administrative assistance to Surety Department Team, and other staff. Performs duties associated with bond issuance and file maintenance. Provides exceptional customer service and support to internal/external customers. Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of the standard procedures and guidelines within the Surety Department. Develop a professional rapport with Clients, Office Associates and Surety Bond Company Representatives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing new and renewal Miscellaneous License and Permit bonds
• Responsible for processing new and renewal Texas Public Notary bonds and Notary E&O policies
• Data Entry
• Invoicing
• Electronic Filing
• Any additional duties or functions necessary assist department and agency

Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Demonstrates ability to work well on a team and independently.
• Good organizational skills.
• Competent and proficient with computer software applications utilized by Surety. Knowledge of surety bond processing preferred
• Strong Analytical abilities.
• Respect for Confidentiality of Clients and Associates
