This position is eligible for partial remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Agriculture located in Ankeny, IA, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and maintain supply strategies and supplier relationships to support new Cotton product programs. In addition, you will:
- Lead and support negotiations with the supply base ensuring programs meet overall goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members to influence and align on product program needs and goals
- Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of experience Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) Supply Management (SM) preferred or similar OFP experience
- 2 or more years of experience working with suppliers to effectively solve problems and negotiate for the benefit of all parties
- 2 or more years of experience with SAP transactions and parameters
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to organize and prioritize work based on the most urgent needs to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
