SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager will support and deliver value to operations, business development, engineering, and finance through the development of supply chain strategies, management of customer service and key vendor partner relationships, and ongoing sourcing and procurement of materials and services. His/Her primary focus will be in Sales and Operational Planning Process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supply Chain Strategy & Relationship Management
- Managing the forecasting process, capacity process (machine capacity, headcount, etc).
- Drive the Production planning process to efficiently utilize assets and human capital.
- Establish internal and external objectives, best practices, codes of conduct, and/or score cards related to performance, quality, delivery, pricing, and terms.
- Ensure on-time delivery and stock levels are meeting targets.
- Develop, implement, and enhance procurement strategies across the Company.
- Develop and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with key partners;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, rebates, and other key terms and relationship parameters.
- Organize and lead meetings and visits, involving the presentation of qualitative and quantitative analysis, with key internal stakeholders and external partners (both customers and vendors).
- Research and present market intelligence in critical material and supply chain/logistics areas.
- Proactively engage with internal stakeholders and external partners around forecasts, pricing and lead time trends, anticipated supply constraints, new program launches, and improvement opportunities.
- Consult and collaborate with other Rosti Supply Chain team members around supply chain strategies and opportunities to improve coordination and economies of scale.
- Manage ongoing material inventory needs for the Company and coordinate with operations and warehouse personnel to support production planning, including the procurement of long lead time and complex supply chain materials (e.g. internationally sourced components) and on-time delivery to customer locations.
- Support new program RFQs from the business development team (develop and define overall supply chain, manage sample material procurement and customer/vendor pricing during launch phase, post-launch pricing, inventory turns vs. purchase price levels, min/max and Kanban programs, lead times).
- Build and maintain inventory items in IQMS (ERP) and manage key purchasing variables (MOQ, price breaks, lead times, standard cost, etc.) to support shipment plan and desired revenue. Engage in monthly standard cost review and ongoing review of any price discrepancies.
- Manage raw material & other input pricing changes along with corresponding customer price changes (coordinate and negotiate price changes with vendor, analyze impact on the Company’s manufacturing costs, and coordinate with business development on revised customer pricing and timing of changes).
- Outsourced, Capital, & Other Supply Chain Management
- Plan, order, and supervise execution of outsourced and internal secondary activities and support production planning and receiving of related items and services.
- Collaborate with operations team around management of capital vendors, related contracts and terms, PO issuance, and project timing/execution.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & COMPETENCIES
- A minimum of five years of operations, supply chain, planning, customer service, procurement, and/or project management experience within a manufacturing setting.
- Sales and Operational Planning Process development and execution.
- Leadership skills including ability to maintain confidentiality and managing direct reports.
- Demonstrated project management, analytical, and strategic problem solving skills.
- Decision making and prioritization skills.
- Interpersonal, communication, negotiating, and organizational influencing skills.
- Ability to work with all levels and functional areas within the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
- Significant ERP experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
