MercyOne is looking for a Supervisor of Physical Therapy Services to join their team. The Supervisor provides oversight. Work is performed with considerable independence within policy and program guidelines.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab support staff in patient care and non-patient care duties according to licensure law
- Performs evaluations and treatments to patients in a variety of settings. Completes supporting documentation according to hospital policy.
- Appropriately establishes and reviews: plan of care; goals and priorities with team (including patient/family); treatment in response to changing patient needs; educational needs of patient/caregivers; discharge plan/follow-up care needs
- Complies with department, hospital, and regulatory agency guidelines with respect to ethics, legal issues and supervisory relationships. Demonstrates professional accountability per the Physical Therapy Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Qualifications
- Certificate, Master's degree in physical therapy
