General Summary
Responsible to manage and perform diversified duties in the processing and monitoring of payroll for BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries.

Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.
It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Tasks
Manage the payroll process accurately and in a timely manner.
Accurately process personnel changes for BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries.
Process various payroll adjustments (shortages, garnishments, vacation pay, bonuses, manual checks) and other off-cycle payments.
Process bi-weekly 401(k) pension file.
Prepare and submit employee elective contribution files each payroll.
Provide 990 compensation data.
Assist with the Pension Audit, provide necessary reports, and respond to auditors' requests in a timely manner. Manage and Coordinate the Worker's Compensation Audit.
Monitor insurance premium payments by employees on LOA or on COBRA to ensure coverage is uninterrupted.
Supervise assigned staff and perform evaluations as scheduled.
Answer questions from staff pertaining to payroll matters.
Manage and oversee the maintenance of time and attendance system and train new time attendance users.
Manage and coordinate with HR and any business unit requiring changes to their reporting structure.
Be familiar with employee benefit programs and monitor and maintain employee sick, holiday, and vacation accrual benefits.
Monitor accurate and timely billings for payroll costs for payment.
Prepare a variety of reports such as overtime, Department of Labor, insurance, retirement, claims paid, and other such reports as requested.
Attend payroll workshops/seminars as required.
Research and ensure compliance with payroll and labor laws pertaining to each state in which BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries operate.
Organize and assist in preparation of the Form 5500's.
Review/reconcile W-2's prepared by outside payroll provider and issue by the IRS deadline.
Assist departments with required reporting.
Enter and maintain all employees' payroll deduction information annually, updating as necessary for new employees and other approved payroll changes.
Oversee the time and attendance system accurately interfaces with the payroll system.
Assist with the duties of other Financial Services employees in their absence.
Maintain a close working relationship with the Financial Services and Human Resources management. Performs other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Tasks
Run departmental errands as directed. Assist other departments as needed.
Assist Human Resources management as necessary.
Education
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Prefer sixty (60) hours from an accredited college or university or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university OR high school diploma or general equivalency diploma plus experience.
Licenses and/or Certifications Texas Operators Driver's License
Certified Payroll Professional preferred
Experience
Requires five or more years of payroll experience.
Knowledge
Must have knowledge of payroll tax laws.
Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of payroll duties.
Must have knowledge of employee benefits and other Human Resources policies helpful.
Must have knowledge of automated payroll and time and attendance systems required.
Skills
Must have strong computer skills.
Must have excellent management skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.

Working Environment
Works in a well-lighted, air conditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. Physical Requirements
Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization. Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
