Sugarloaf Outdoor Center Team Members

Sugarloaf Outdoor Center is Maine's largest Nordic center and is located downhill from the Alpine resort. We featuring a modern ski lodge, trails groomed for cross-country skiing, snowshoe trails that offer many great woodland adventures, and ice skating on an NHL sized rink.

We are currently looking for help in the retail, ticket sales, and equipment rental departments at this resort location for the coming winter season. Full and Part Time positions are availabe for this winter. Both come with great job perks and are eligible for an end of season bonus. 

• Be able to give accurate and current information about the merchandise for all brands carried
• Clean and organize on a daily basis to keep sales area in prime appearance
• Utilize the tools and training provided by Sugarloaf Resort to develop long-term customer relationships and increase sales
• Develop strong knowledge of the Outdoor Center property as well as the surrounding area in order to be able to answer questions regarding area activities
• Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude at all times
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task while greeting all guests promptly as they enter the store and hosting a warm atmosphere at all times
• Apply the above standards to all phone calls and questions

The ideal candidate for this job will:

• have experience nordic skiing
• have experience with the Outdoor Center trail systems
• have a positive and outgoing attitude
• be able to effectively work with our team
• be attentive to detail and accuracy
• be accurate with money usage and register use
• be self-motivated
