Your Opportunity

For our summer 2023 internship program, we are seeking energetic, personable, and intellectually curious candidates who possess excellent design, graphics, organizational and communication skills. The internship program will enable you to interact within a team consisting of architectural, engineering, and interior design professionals. You will have hands-on experience working on active projects, opportunities to design and present in a Stantec-wide intern design challenge, to attend educational lunch-and-learns seminars, and to participate in internal design presentations and dialogues.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support multi-disciplinary team in developing designs, schematic sketches/diagrams, and documentation drawings.
- Assist project designers in the preparation of interior design presentations, including creating renderings and/or presentation graphics
- Utilize BIM software as a tool for design drawings.
- Work with interior design team to create color and finish palettes, research finish materials and products.
- Assist with coordinating vendor visits and library organization.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Ability to take directions and manages own work schedule for tasks assigned
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Willingness to work in an energetic and challenging work environment.
- Experience in Revit, Enscape and Sketch-Up a plus.
- Experience in rendering software is also a plus.
- This position requires to be in the office several days each week.
- Must be able to work remotely when necessary.

Education and Experience
Internship Program is for someone who is currently pursuing an Interior Design or Architectural degree from an accredited school. If you have already graduated, please check our website for other full-time positions that might be more suitable for you.
