Street Sweeper Driver

Duties

- Perform sweeping and cleaning duties in various outdoor areas, including parking lots, sidewalks, and common areas.

- Operate mechanical sweepers and other equipment to effectively remove debris and maintain cleanliness.

- Clear snow from designated areas using snow plowing equipment.

- Dig and prepare soil for planting and landscaping projects.

- Mow grass and maintain lawns to ensure a neat and well-kept appearance.

- Irrigate plants, flowers, and lawns to promote healthy growth.

- Trim trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and improve overall appearance.

- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and fertilizing as needed.

- Ensure that all outdoor areas are free from litter and debris on a regular basis.

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge to operate sweepers and other equipment effectively.

- Experience in snow plowing techniques and equipment operation.

- Proficiency in digging and preparing soil for landscaping projects.

- Knowledge of mowing techniques to achieve a clean-cut appearance.

- Ability to irrigate plants, flowers, and lawns according to specific requirements.

- Familiarity with tree trimming methods to maintain shape and health.

- Understanding of garden maintenance practices, including planting, weeding, and fertilizing.

- Attention to detail to ensure outdoor areas are clean and free from debris.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
