The Opportunity
As the Central Strategic Planning & Execution Leader, this people leader will serve as a strategic partner across eBay to align the organization end-to-end from strategy to operations. The main responsibility will be to support the delivery of the Long Range Plan (LRP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Streamline inconsistent Resource Management and Prioritization at the eBay level. You will be responsible to collaborate with all functions to develop the plan, resourcing, prioritization and storytelling that will set up our teams to move smoothly from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the overall strategic planning (includes the Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan) for eBay at the global level, partnering across the organization to ensure that our strategy, financial and operating plans are connected.
- Deliver a consolidated, consistent and aligned eBay wide roadmap and complete it
- Lead change management efforts across the organization to build stronger collaboration and connection across planning teams.
- Build a robust framework / methodology for prioritization and decision making at eBay, including significant recommendations to implement at the Function level.
- Streamline inconsistent Resource Management and Prioritization processes across eBay.
- Lead the Enterprise Planning Council (ECP), a cross-functional group of planning professionals across eBay that is the driving force behind planning activities at eBay.
- Lead critical Strategic Planning processes that require excellent storytelling such as: Strategy documents, Board of Director support, eBay key launches roadmap, Initiative Case documents, etc.
- Build and lead a hard-working team of professionals
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Business Operations or a similar strategic function. Experience in eCommerce space a plus
- Must have previously led the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and/or Long Range Plan (LRP), ideally at a company level, or within a large division
- Ability to strategically structure and use frameworks and data-driven approach to break down sophisticated problems into clear steps and plans
- Proven track record of leading, collaborating and influencing across large and sophisticated global organizations. Experience partnering directly with executive teams to move a company forward a plus
- Ambitious self-starter with a player/mentor model who can thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Capable of flexing between high level strategic concepts & frameworks to tactical operational implementation
- Excellent story-telling, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to facilitate transparent communications and collaboration across large teams
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and presentation skills

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.
$160,400 - $254,100
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
