OVERVIEW:
Scenthound is a revolutionary concept in the pet industry, giving pups the care they deserve and giving pup parents a simple way to stay on top of their dogs’ health. We are hiring a Scenter Manager to manage our next location in the Charlotte area. In this role you will lead the charge as we enter a new market, educate dog parents, and remove barriers to bring dogs the routine care they need on a monthly basis.
This role provides an opportunity for expanded responsibility and seniority as more stores open in the Charlotte market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
- Advocate for all dogs in our care and in our community
- Be a culture-driven leader and inspire your team to seek growth
- Communicate information from upper management promptly and accurately to your team
- Lead quality control efforts & conduct regular service audits to ensure process compliance
- Resolve customer concerns
- Ensure safety of dogs and team members at all times
- Responsible for employee development through leadership, training and performance reviews - Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Franchise Owner
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment (5 years or more preferred)
- Progressively responsible management/supervision experience
- Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the mission of Scenthound
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach & mentor team members in a culture-first environment (preferably grooming assistant managers to take on manager positions as more stores are opened)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet, e-mail)
- Adequate transportation to perform job duties - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Ability to safely lift 50-70 Lbs.
- Willing to work in a smoke-free environment
