Staff Accountant

Parkview Orthopedic Group is searching for an Staff Accountant to coordinate accounting, budgeting, and financial management of the physician practice and clinics. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Preparing financial statements and reports
• Coordination of Accounts Payable, including vendor payments, Reconciling reports and bank statements
• Examining accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Processing and recording payroll
• Serving as liaison with external accountants in the preparation of annual tax filings and related documents
• Maintaining subsidiary ledgers, as needed
• Closing account books
• Managing and reconciling cash accounts
• Assisting in evaluation, implementation, and operation of automated accounting systems, and financial analysis procedures
• Coordination of the company's 401(k) plan
• Performing other related duties as assigned

This in-person position is based in our office located in Palos Heights, IL, with weekday work hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, and Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Quickbooks

Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience, with annual salary starting at $60,000. Benefits include paid time off; health, vision, and dental insurance; and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan.
