Oakwood Farms is looking for a new member (or two!) to join our team! The position is open to long-term applicants as well as interns and working students.
We are a large (50+ horses) dressage breeding and training facility with a strong focus on starting and developing young horses. The position includes all aspects of general horse and farm care and can be further focused based on the applicants interest and experience to either breeding and foaling processes, handling and starting young horses, or both!All work is performed under the supervision of Grand Prix dressage rider and trainer, Meg Williams who has been breeding Hanoverian horses and involved with the American Hanoverian Society for over 30 years. To accompany the wealth of knowledge and experience gained, the position also includes housing as well as a small salary.All applicants should be self motivated, interested in learning, and work well with others.
