Headquartered in Dallas, we have offices across the country with hybrid in-office options.About the Role : The Sr. Media Strategist is responsible for guiding the strategy, identifying key measurements, and implementing complex paid digital media solutions as well as other emerging media channels for a variety of client initiatives. You’ll look at all media channels, performance, help deliver insights and recommendations. You’ll be critical to ensuring all reporting and marketing performance is delivered with real insights and concrete next steps. The ideal candidate must be experienced in media planning and execution, high level marketing and communications strategy, knowledge of ecommerce campaigns and how to drive leads and measure ROAS. Enthusiasm for optimizing campaigns with better messages and placement and find opportunities in unique places to drive better results through media. This position will report directly to the Group Director, Media Strategy.Core Responsibilities:Lead clients in strategic direction to achieve business goals. Must be able to sell-in and defend the importance and role of media across top-of-funnel, mid-funnel and lower-funnel stages.Manage multiple, direct and indirect stakeholders with competing views on priorities and approachImplement the process and assists with the management of the strategic and tactical execution of all media products for clients of responsibilityConfer with Group Planning Director and/or clients to establish media objectives and strategies for advertising campaignsEvaluate composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audienceWork with cross-agency client teams defining scope, recommending measurable plans, budgeting accordingly, and connecting the creative execution to paid digital media campaigns for clientsAnalyze trends and present results to clients with insights on effective digital and other emerging media channels tacticsCollaborate with cross-functional agency project teams to motivate, create and implement short and long-term connected digital media strategiesProduce strategies in a multi-discipline, collaborative environment while defining clearly measurable frameworks for awareness, consideration and intent based media campaignsConfidently write, present and sell plans to agency management and clients; help deliver analytics reports and will be on regular calls with client helping answer questions and assemble the right team members for all tasksQualifications/Requirements:4-6 years of paid digital media experience; E-comm experience preferredStrong digital knowledge across SEM, Paid Social, YouTube, CTV, Display, Amazon and Google ShoppingClear understanding of the media planning and buying process (multi-channel required), as well as digital media tactics and the ability to articulate media recommendations while remaining flexibleAbility to translate client goals and brand campaign initiatives, demonstrating measurable value through the digital strategy and ongoing campaign measurement processProven experience with integrated advertising campaigns across multiple devices and media channels with methods demonstrating impact on the brand’s businessExperience with digital marketing platforms, including analytics and attribution toolsWorking knowledge of DoubleClick (DCM) or similar AdServerAbility to work in a collaborative, proactive team setting.
