ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the business with respect to pricing, cost of goods sold, budgeting, and other key financial analytics
  • Own the corporate financial model and our long-range financial plan. Act as a key contributor for board meeting materials creation, leadership presentations, and strategic decision making
  • Be a trusted business partner to the PAX leadership team and partner with key stakeholders to drive strategic insights
  • Support business decisions with timely and accurate ad hoc financial analysis
  • Gain a mastery understanding of the product lines, the competitive environment, and the market to support functional initiatives and provide recommendations to business partners
  • Identify and assist with implementation and enhancements to financial reporting / planning systems

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

You're a curious, creative, and analytical thinker that's passionate about making an impact within an organization. You have prior experience building financial models, breaking down large data sets, and making strategic recommendations to the organization. You have a desire to question legacy processes and find ways to improve them. You operate well independently but are not afraid to ask for help when needed, and have a bias to implement and test solutions. 

  • 5+ years of FP&A experience at a fast-paced technology and/or consumer company. Investment banking/consulting experience is a plus!
  • Foundational understanding of three financial statements (IS/BS/CF) and best practices for financial modeling, financial reporting, financial planning, and ad hoc financial analysis. Strong prior experience building and leading business case analysis 
  • Self-starter with demonstrated flexibility and agility in a high growth environment
  • Team player with a "can do" attitude and the ability to dive into the details
  • Experience building strong relationships with the internal management teams in a high growth environment
  • Outstanding Excel and communication skills with exceptional judgment and maturity, including an ability to execute

COMPENSATION

In addition to the benefits above, the salary range for this role is $160-180k.

This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
