JAVA DEVELOPER (REMOTE)
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity with a direct client for a full Java Developer with 5 years of Java development along with Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Apache Struts.

This is starting out as a 10-month contract position with the strong potential to extend or convert to a FTE. The Java Developer position is 100% remote and working in the eastern time zone during core business hours. Candidates must have permanent work authorization and not need sponsorship now or in the future. Third party / C2C candidates are not eligible for this role.
Java Developer JOB SUMMARY:

• Development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions.
• Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models.
• Documenting detailed system specifications and will participate in evaluating, conducting performance testing, and all planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products.
• Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs
• IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

Java Developer MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-8 years of Java development/programming/coding in a professional work experience
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experience
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with REST, back-end services
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• Additional skills include
  • JSP
  • JavaScript/Angular
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, OpenShift, Redis
  • Microservices
  • MongoDB, DB2, or equivalent
