In this role, you have the opportunity to
Perform hands-on, end-to-end electronic design, assembly, integration, and testing. The tasks will also includedesign, develop, create and modify both analog and digital electronic hardware for a secure mission-critical avionics systems.
You are responsible for
- Schematic capture and board layout in accordance with specifications and customer defined requirements
- Support business development with technical solutions and critical customer support
- Collaborate with product team member (including Mechanical, FPGA, Software, and System engineers) in the hardware development and testing of various systems
- Provide technical expertise/guidance at the aircraft avionics systems and avionics by identifying the initial architectural direction and guide the team for the successful solution of electrical designs, software designs, and EMI/EMC concerns
- Full life cycle product management
- Drive processes for defining and documenting system and subsystem architectures including new features and expanded technical capabilities on the technical roadmap, such as System On Chip, flash memory, and high speed electronics
- Identify and lead improvements and optimizations and sets the standard for architecture maintenance activities
- Provide technical oversight to the implementation team based on defined architecture considering standards such as FACE, MOSA, and HOST (Optional)
You are a part of

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools is required
- Experience with components selection
- Experience with digital hardware design (MCU, SPI, RS232/485, etc.)
- Familiarity with system, hardware software avionics development processes (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160G etc.) is desired
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task
- 7+ years experience
- Ability to obtain security clearance or have an active security clearance
