Job Description

The Senior Director of Customer Acquisition is responsible for the strategy and development of EBG’s user acquisition strategy for EBG’s Corporate Programs, utilizing marketing solutions across owned (e.g., email, website, direct mail), and paid (e.g., social, digital display) channels. The job requirements will focus on implementing an acquisition strategy utilizing the right channels, including traditional and emerging channels, to engage employee prospects online/offline in the most relevant manner.  The role will be responsible for driving persistent enrollments and registration that grows long-term value across key segments. Be a collaborative and a trusted partner working closely with cross-functional teams in Client Development & Operations, Marketing, Data & Analytics, Product Management, Finance.  You will also be identifying new opportunities to test and learn to increase acquisition. With a growth mindset, you will define and implement strategies rooted in consumer insights, testing, and validating tactics to deliver results by helping EBG acquire new users to its employee perks program.

  • Develop and execute on an effective marketing plan(s) in support of driving persistent user enrollment and registration to EBG’s portfolio of employee perks brands including; TicketsatWork, Plum Benefits, Working Advantage, and Beneplace.  Plan development includes insights required to determine the business opportunity, and translation of insights into key strategies. Your focus will be to:
    • Grow the member base for our corporate program through owned (e.g., email, site, direct mail), and paid (e.g., social, digital display) channels
    • Development and execution of annual campaigns associated with key employee events to drive opt-ins and registrations
    • Create awareness and engagement around the benefits of EBG’s portfolio of brands (Tickets at Work, Plum Benefits, Working Advantage, and Beneplace). This will include
      • Participating in some or all major HR events and securing procurement of sponsorship opportunities utilizing tactics such as keynote and speaking opportunities, etc.
      • Working with creative to developing compelling assets and content such as creating, and maintaining instructional videos, blogs, and articles associated with the benefits of EBG’s employee perks program
  • Develop winning strategies, execution prowess, rigorous analysis of campaign results, test-and-learn know how, all to drive user engagement, enrollment, and registration
  • Identify client segments, targeting, and relevant communications to drive awareness of EBG’s respective perks program
  • Leads execution of all project deliverables including, but not limited to, brief development, collaboration with internal subject matter experts such as the B2B client- side sales and operations team, Product Management, Finance, Customer Service, B2B and B2C Marketing
  • Partner closely with the B2B client sales and marketing understanding all communication channels and campaigns
  • Work with the analytics team to forecast marketing channel conversions against budget, track performance of marketing channels to identify optimizations opportunities, establish KPIs and align on measurement efforts against key metrics
  • Partner and collaborate closely with the product team to optimize the user journey and registration process to increase the registration rates and reduce friction
  • Bring new and innovative ideas to highlight the value proposition of the platform and encourage registration and usage
  • Support B2B workstreams to develop b2b2c strategies, programs and campaigns targeting employees of registered companies (i.e., retargeting strategies, etc.)
  • Actively develops open and trusted relationships across a complex organization to create clear goals, accountabilities, and outcomes
  • Work with a cross functional team of professional colleagues performing generally similar work; adapt plans and priorities to meet business objectives and/or operational challenges.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or ideally an MBA or other relevant advanced degree
  • 7+ years of experience with digital marketing and user acquisition with a strong foundation of business, consumer, and membership and subscription understanding
  • Analytical with experience understanding and actioning on digital marketing
  • Strategic planning skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to create strategies, presentations, and organizational influence
  • Past working experience with an ecommerce organization or agency, including integrated marketing, digital marketing, or loyalty
  • Ability to drive results with a strong track record of acquiring new users and driving user engagement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate strategic plans to the leadership and executive teams
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally including most importantly sales, analytics and product teams
  • Strong execution skills with a roll up your sleeves attitude
