Sr. Digital Marketing Manager
SUMMARY:
The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics that will promote our products across a variety of digital channels. The incumbent will have responsibility for making recommendations on advertising tactics across e-retailers and customer retailer websites that employs a best first dollar spent approach. They will also be responsible for all pro-forma business cases, analysis of channel performance and ROI.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the marketing and sales teams to serve as subject matter expert on integration of digital strategies and branding of PetAg product and customer websites
- Define success metrics and assess performance metrics including campaign or initiative analytics, brand metrics, pay-per-click, customer metrics, and overall return on investment
- Support marketing microsites to develop engaging, actionable marketing tools
- Develop hypotheses for test-and-learn plan for improving experiences and campaigns
- Stay apprised of emerging digital media technologies, trends, and industry news that align with business goals
- Assist in the identification and qualification of digital media vendors as needed and work with and manage digital agency and vendor relationships
We are looking for a candidate that possesses the following:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree with a marketing or business focus; or equivalent experience. Understanding marketing and business fundamentals are critical for success
- A minimum of eight years of marketing experience: At least three years' experience in digital marketing is required.
- Proficiency in Excel; BI tools and dashboards, Google Analytics is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, planning, organization, and interpersonal skills are required.
- This position will have direct reports. People leadership and influence skills are required.
- Possesses strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional and in a team environment.
- Realization of how essential great attention to detail is in achieving success in this position.
- Strong team player orientation with emphasis on an attitude of one company goal achievement.
- Travel required in this position: 25% annually
