Responsibilities
We are hiring a Sr. Data Analyst for the Clinical Research & Analytics team within the Ascension Data Science Institute (ADSI). This role will support infectious disease, registry, and other clinical reporting, in addition to responding to ad hoc clinical data requests, and assisting with data collection and wrangling to support the team's research objectives.
- Gain subject matter expertise in our many clinical data sources by working closely with other teams and attending regular meetings and source-specific office hours.
- Support new and ongoing research objectives by distilling broad research requests and vast data resources into analytic-ready tables.
- Interface between team's researchers and data engineering teams.
- Work with ADSI data intelligence and visualization teams to maintain existing infectious disease (COVID-19, Influenza, RSV, etc.) and registry Tableau dashboards.
- Work with customers to clarify and plan for current and future reporting needs.
- Collaborate on driving improvement activities to achieve department and organizational goals.
Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Tableau Visualization: 2-5 yrs
- SQL Data Analysis: 2-5 yrs
- R or other Statistical Software
- Healthcare Data Experience (EHR, Billing, Claims, Registry, etc.)
