SalaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Researcher to play a key role in our online marketplace endeavors. In this role, you will be responsible for researching a wide range of products, including Sports Memorabilia, collectibles, antiques, vintage jewelry, and other items, to gather valuable information that informs our eBay listings and pricing strategies. Your meticulous research will contribute to the success of our eBay store by ensuring accurate product descriptions, competitive pricing, and optimal online visibility.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive research on Sports Memorabilia, collectibles, antiques, vintage jewelry, and various other items to gather relevant information such as historical context, rarity, provenance, and market trends.
2. Utilize online resources, databases, auction records, and expert opinions to gather accurate and up-to-date information about each product.
3. Collaborate closely with the product photography team to ensure that the product's unique features and attributes are accurately represented in the listings.
4. Create detailed and compelling product descriptions for eBay listings, highlighting key features, historical significance, and any unique selling points.
5. Monitor market trends, competitor listings, and pricing strategies to make informed recommendations for setting competitive and appealing prices for each item.
6. Identify potential keywords and tags that will enhance the discoverability of our eBay listings through search optimization.
7. Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall presentation and performance of our eBay store, including suggestions for optimizing product categories and listings.
8. Collaborate with the marketing team to align eBay listings with our brand's visual identity and messaging.
9. Stay informed about eBay policies, best practices, and any updates that may impact our listings.
Qualifications:
1. Strong research skills with a proven ability to gather accurate and relevant information from a variety of sources.
2. Excellent written communication skills to create engaging and informative product descriptions.
3. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to accurately capture and present intricate product details.
4. Familiarity with eBay's platform, including listing creation, optimization, and management, is a plus.
5. Passion for and knowledge of Sports Memorabilia, collectibles, antiques, vintage jewelry, or related fields is highly advantageous.
6. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in using online research tools, databases, and other resources to gather information.
8. Basic understanding of SEO principles and their application in e-commerce listings is beneficial.
