We are in search of a Specialist, Brand & Integrated Marketing, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He/She/They will be part of a dynamic, creative, innovative and impactful team that is responsible for driving brand awareness, growth, engagement and retention for Viki and our global audience.
This role will be based in San Mateo, CA and report to Director, Brand & Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to define and execute integrated marketing campaigns designed to generate buzz, excitement, awareness and engagement for Viki titles and Rakuten Viki brand
- Support the development and execution of integrated campaigns, including message, marketing briefs, contract agreements, content production, and multi-channel strategy approach
- Consistently monitor campaign effectiveness and goal attainment and provide recommendations for optimization
- Partner with the analytics and finance teams, use customer data collected through a range of quantitative measurements and voice of the users surveys/studies to enhance our ability to match prospects and users preferences to marketing communications
- Synthesize data and create reporting for integrated, brand and influencer campaigns, working with external agencies, in-house analytics and finance teams for post campaign performance evaluation
- Work with Director to develop and maintain strong, organic relationships with paid influencers and manage our external agency relationship
- Collaborate with fellow marketing team members to create activations specific to amplify brand programs and content launches
- Collaborate with the Creative Team to ensure proper syndication of creative assets to internal cross-functional teams and external vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business, Data Analytics, Advertising or equivalent business experience in marketing preferred
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with basic marketing and business data analytics
- Good understanding of social media platforms, B2C marketing funnel, and marketing KPIs such as conversion rates, cost per lead, cost of acquisition and marketing ROI
- Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- A passionate self-starter who can serve as a strong advocate for our customers and our business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with both creative and business-oriented teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and passion for Asian entertainment (K-pop, J-pop, Korean dramas etc.)
- Streaming industry knowledge
- Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory
At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base salary for this role will be between $62,856 - $107,136. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
