About the Job

As a Commercial Front Load Lead Driver, you'll safely operate a heavy-duty truck and are responsible for playing a very significant role in our company’s expansion into Commercial Front Load service. Our company is focused on our people and our customers. We are looking for someone with a stable work history with experience driving Front Load trucks. This individual will need to be dependable and take ownership. You'll have a unique opportunity to be the foundation of growing this business. Some days may be delivering containers, some days you will be training new drivers.

What Does It Take to be a Driver?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air-brake endorsement.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

What You'll Do

To be successful as a Roll-off Driver, you'll be expected to perform the following tasks:

• Operate trucks in accordance with Safety rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
• Pre- and post-trip inspections of your truck and document checks using the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
• Immediately report all unsafe situations or service-related issues to your dispatcher.
• Attend and participate in training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by Arrow Waste.
• Communicate customer requests to your Dispatcher.
• Completely dump all receptacles and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
• Perform duties as scheduled by your Dispatcher and assist other drivers to meet customer needs.

Work Environment

The normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a vehicle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
