About this role
The Software License & System Integration Technician based in Rochester (Pittsford) NY, will be responsible for generating and maintaining software licenses for LENELS2 proprietary software products based on customer orders. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill software license requests in support of LENELS2 order fulfillment
- Respond to customer inquiries (phone/email) in a timely manner
- Log into the customer phone queue to answer calls
- Install and assist with license activation and reactivation processes
- Maintain customer support database
- Integrate licensing software with emerging and existing third-party software
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders about customers' account and license accuracy
- Participate in the streamlining and process improvement of licensing tools
Basic Qualifications
- 1 year plus experience in IT customer service or IT helpdesk
- 1 year plus experience in Microsoft Software
- High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Associate Degree or Technical college certification
- Flexible with work schedules
- Working knowledge of PC, server hardware
- Configure Windows-based PC and server's systems
- Oracle, Salesforce, O/S Office365 or Windows-based Desktops/Serversx
- Adapt quickly to emerging technologies and applications
- A positive attitude, with a high energy level and sound judgment
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking with an emphasis on organization and prioritizing tasks
- Work independently in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills i.e. technical and computer subject matter
