OnsiteThis Software Engineer Internship position is within the Avionics Airborne Information Solutions Data Link Products team. The airborne communications management system provides a mobile data link service through various subnetworks between the aircraft and the airline ground facilities and/or air traffic controllers. The Data Link software team creates the airborne software providing methods to manage the receipt of uplink messages, generation of downlink messages, and the development of the on-board applications for the processing of messages.

Primary Responsibilities:
This candidate will design and develop embedded software primarily in the C++ language and also develop on-board Datalink products display pages using GUI based design tools, along with the associated logic to animate the pages on the flight deck and cabin displays. Development will be for current generation products and the next generation product line following the Rockwell Collins Technical Consistent Process. As a Data Link team member you would be responsible for all aspects of a project life-cycle
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
