Description:
The Software Engineer II designs develop and support custom Intranet, Mobile applications, and Internet applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Application Development with mainstream frameworks, mastery with at least one object-oriented language (C#, Java) and at least one scripting language (python, JavaScript/Typescript).
•Experiences of design, develop and maintain a wide landscape of databases, including document-based (mongoDb), relational (MySQL, SqlServer), key-value store (Redis) etc. understand the strength and weakness of each and apply appropriately according to business scenario.
•Participates in new enterprise-level application solutions with design and coding approach being noteworthy and innovative, and spearheading new ways of doing things.
•Experiences developing with at least one cloud infrastructure provider and solid understanding on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as a-service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and their deployment models.
•Support DevOps/CICD software delivery model.
•Provide support, maintains, and improves existing applications.
•Contributes to requirements-gathering and technical design of applications.
•Troubleshoots and solves problems as necessary.
•Proficiency at version control with Git and comfortable working with trunk-based development model.
•Adheres to the Company’s design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance standards.
•Collaborate with the QA and development teams to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
•Participates in project status meetings as required and provides project status updates.
•Mentor other teammates and cross teams, and providing instructional direction for the greater engineering organization.
•Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
