Roles and Responsibilities
• Designing fixtures used to test printed circuit board subassemblies in a manufacturing environment.
• The In-circuit Test Engineer will work with a cross-functional team to understand requirements and deadlines.
• Compile all information required to submit a fixture quote, work with the vendor to address concerns, and debug the fixture so that production deadlines can be met.
Required Skills:
• 2-5 years of experience in an electronic design or test design role that focused on designing and/or testing embedded electronics.
• Experience with Teradyne In-Circuit Test systems
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
• Experience in the design of printed circuit boards
• Experience programming 16-bit and 32-bit embedded microcontrollers and other memory devices.
• Experience with communication protocols (i.e. CAN, Ethernet, USB, etc.)
• Experience in the design and/or test of ruggedized, embedded automotive electronics
• Experience with electronic hardware and systems (i.e. Op Amp, FET's, Transistors, A/D converters, serial and parallel interfaces, microcontrollers, etc.)
• Technical experience using and understanding schematics and PCB layout data
• Experience with development and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.)
• Basic programming language experience (C++, C#, Python, Java, etc.)
• Good written and verbal communications skills (English
